Project Overview
Meridian Helicopters were engaged by Powerlink to assist in the replacement of 3.8 kilometres of parallel transmission lines located alongside Dalrymple Road in Garbutt, Currajong, Gulliver and Heatley with a single transmission line.
Stakeholder management with Powerlink, Ergon Energy, Queensland Police, Queensland Department of Transport, Air Traffic Control, and others.
The project involved months of safety preparation planning, meetings and briefings with all stakeholders, and communication campaigns.
On-site management involved site models, traffic control for public safety, and weather management.
